Activities
Cards & Games –
Meet your friends to play cards and games like Rummikub, Mexican Train, Chicken Foot, Mahjong, Hand & Foot and more.
*Tai Chi Wednesdays from 10:00-11:00 Instructor Kate Kane Class begins with a Qigong warmup that can be done sitting followed by Tai Chi. $5 Members/$7Non Members
Art Club Wednesdays – Bring your own supplies to work on your own project with friends.
Knitting & Crocheting Wednesdays 10:00
This group meets once a week for as long as you like, an hour or two, or the entire day. Bring your own project. Learn from each other, be inspired, create.
Board Meeting – 1st Monday 1:00
Once a month our board meets to plan upcoming events and discusses center business. Board Members Only.
Covered Dish Lunch – 1st Tuesday 12:00
Once a month at noon, bring an entrée, side dish or dessert to share with the group. Usually we have a speaker on an interesting topic.
Pinochle Tournament – 2nd & 4th Thursday 1:00
Twice a month, come for a friendly challenge of pinochle. Cost is $2 per person for 6 rounds.
Movies – Once a month at 1:00 Please check calendar for date.
Come watch a movie and eat free snacks.
Birthday Bingo – 3RD Monday 12:30
On the 3rd Monday of the month, join us to celebrate members who have a birthday that month. Cake and ice cream are served, then play a friendly ($1 to play, win a $1) game of Bingo. If it is your birthday that month, you play for free! It is a popular tradition to give the birthday members a birthday card.
Membership Meeting – 4TH Monday 1:00
On the 4th Monday of the month, join us to find out what is going on at the senior center. Bring your ideas and suggestions and volunteer to help. Newsletters for the next month are distributed.
Cash Bingo – Two Tuesdays a month 1:00
Two Tuesdays a month, which are listed on the monthly calendar, join us for Cash Bingo. $5.00 package – 10 Sheets for 10 games and 4 Specials – $1.00 for a 4 card sheet of each special $4.00 for all specials (16 cards)
DVD Exercise – Mondays 10:30-11:30 Start the week off right. Meet with friends to exercise with DVDs. If you are feeling energetic, stay from 11:30-12:00 for an Aerobic Walking DVD.
